NEWSIISHF SEEKS HOSTS FOR EUROPEAN CUPS 2008Date Posted : 27th February 2007The IISHF are inviting clubs to hold the 2008 Junior and Youth European Cups. Any club wishing to hold one of these prestigious events must have access to a hall that has a 40 x 20 rink, together with the ability to fulfill the IISHF Regulations for A class events. There is an obligation to feed and provide drinks for the IISHF officials, together with the payment of approximately 1000 euros per tournament day for fees for an estimated 10 IISHF referees and officials etc. BiSHA estimate that as the only income available to the club is that chargeable for specators, clubs will need to have considerable sponsorship available to them.
