Bisha membership fees for 2006

Date Posted : 12th January 2006

BiSHA membership fees for 2006 will remain the same as 2005, with the exception of Peewee fees, which have been reduced to £5.00 per player. BiSHA hopes this will encourage development within the youngest age groups.

* To further encourage clubs which have Peewee teams playing within a BiSHA League, there will be a 5% reduction in fees for their other age groups as follows:

  • Youth - £28.00
  • Junior - £34.00
  • Senior - £44.00

BiSHA very much hope that this small concession will encourage all clubs to develop teams at all age groups.

Transfers:

Transfers are available between regions, clubs and teams throughout the season. Transfer forms should be completely filled in and sent along with a transfer fee of £20.00 to the BiSHA Membership Director.

It should be noted that a transfer deadline is normally set to enable Nationals qualification to be adequately policed and this deadline will be announced as and when it is decided by the board.

Registration:

Player registrations must be completed fully and signed by all required parties and submitted to the relevant Regional Membership secretary at least 7 days prior to the player playing their first game of the current season. Memberships may be sent direct to the BiSHA Membership Director and be deemed to be valid and eligible to play once the Membership Director has received the forms and fee duly completed and signed correctly.

From January 2006:

All memberships should be sent by team managers directly to the BiSHA Membership Director, who will then forward the information on to the regional secretaries. All forms and money nust be completed fully and clearly and sent by recorded delivery.

'Play-Up' and 'Play-Out' Options:

In each of the age groups below Senior each player has the option to 'play-up' to a higher category within their own club. For example a youth player in Team A may be considered of a standard that would benefit them playing as a Junior player. This may be achieved by completing the bottom section of the membership application form and signed by both the parent and team manager showing consent. This form should be acompanied with a £10.00 fee added to the standard age-group cost and both fee and form fully signed and completed should be sent to the BiSHA Membership Director.

'Playing-up' or age option is a privilege not a right. 'Playing-up' is also available to players who do not have a team within their own club at the next higher level. For example a youth player playing youth in Team B who do not have a Junior team may play junior for Team A providing that the 'playing-out' form is fully completed by both managers, parent and player and a £10.00 fee is sent with the form to the BiSA Membership Director.

Again 'Playing-Out' of club is a privilege not a right. The club / team first signed for is the club / team that has priority of loyalty of the players services in any dispute the team of foirst registration would have priority of loyalty. In the event of dispute the alternative is to complete a transfer.
