NEWSOxford Blues Senior Tournament 2006Date Posted : 23rd August 2006Oxford Blues Skater Hockey club are pleased to announce their 2006 Senior Tournament. This is to be held at Wheatley Park Sports Centre in Oxfordshire, Saturday 23rd - Sunday 24th September 2006. The tournament will be organised as two one-day events for two classes of teams:
The tournament is BiSHA sanctioned and played to Bisha rules and age groups – including playing up players. Guest players allowed. There will be 5 teams per day, all teams playing each other for points followed by a Grand Final. Games will be 15 minutes each way, 20 minutes each way for the final. At least 4 games per team per day. The cost per team will be £150. There will be trophies for the winners, raffle prizes, fastest Slap-shot competition and most respected player awards. There will be kit storage areas and a stall selling new gear. There will be food refreshments, and a licensed bar. On Saturday night, younger skaters are invited to stay on to the RollerMania session at the sports centre, where kids and parents can show there skills. Please contact if you wish to reserve a place.
